Scour Holes
Scour holes can be infiled/ underpinned using Fabriform™ bags. The bags must be purpose made to be slightly larger than the void to be infilled to ensure complete filling, this requires a diver survey of the voids. A mesh shutter needs to be fixed to the vertical face of the in order to create confinement of the form as it is pump filled, usually with sand: cement micro concrete. The system is widely used and is a proven underpinning technique to underwater bridge piers, harbour walls etc.
