Precast tunnel sections
are floated out to position, and before final immersion have Fabriform™
bags fixed by divers to their underside.
These bags are then pump
filled with Grout or Micro Concrete while the tunnel section is
held in its final position on hydraulic jacks. Once the grout has
set the jacks are removed and the tunnel location is fixed. This
system has a variety of uses, from helping to prevent the effects
of bed material liquefaction due to earthquake action, to simple
structural strip foundations.

and the innovate filling/ venting system ensures total filling from
the centre outwards.
